With its development well underway, 5G Networks are expected to be launched across the world by the year 2020. It will work alongside existing networks like the 3G and 4G technology to provide speedier connections that stay online no matter where you are.
The 5G mobile networks (or 5G Network) — are scheduled to follow (but not replace) current 4G networks with vastly increased capacity, lower latency, and faster speeds. Some 5G networks will initially operate in a high-frequency band of the wireless spectrum — between 28 GHz and 38 GHz — also known as the millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum.
The new 5G networks will be capable to transmit very large amounts of data is a short period or time. Nonetheless, 5G is also expected to work in low spectrum frequencies such as 600 MHz as well as unlicensed frequencies such as the 3.5 GHz spectrum.
